🔹 There are direct flights to Agatti (one of the islands in Lakshadweep) from major cities in mainland India.
🔹 Very frequent flights are available from Kochi (Kerala).

1️⃣ Entry permit must be applied before travel.
2️⃣ Usually the hotel applies and arranges the permit for you.
3️⃣ For Indian travellers you need:

5️⃣ ⏳ Permit processing can take 10–15 days, so apply early.

✈️ Travel from Mainland

🛫 Bengaluru → Agatti (direct flight)

Return journey:
🛫 Agatti → Kochi → Bengaluru

🚤 Transfer from Agatti to Hotel

1️⃣ After landing at the cute small airport (you literally walk from the plane to the airport 😄), a representative will greet you.

2️⃣ They verify your permit documents and IDs.

3️⃣ You are taken via 🚗 AC car to the port (about 6 km).

4️⃣ From the port:

  • 🚤 Normal boat → ~1 hr 20 mins

  • ⚡ Speed boat → faster transfer

🐬 Dolphin spotting
While travelling by boat from Agatti to Bangaram we saw a group of dolphins – magical welcome!

🏝️ Sand Bank Visit
Located south of the resort. Buggy will take you there.
If tides are low, you can walk across the sandbank.

📍 They take you to Parali Island
Features:

  • Thousands of coral rocks

  • Pristine beaches

  • Pure white sand

  • 🐢 Tortoise spotting tour

  • 🚤 Glass-bottom boat ride where we saw 20–25 tortoises easily!

🥥 Coconut water from the only family living there (4 people) – just ₹50.

Location: Coral Garden

We saw:
🐠 Colourful fishes
🪸 Corals
🐍 Sea cucumber
🐴 Sea horse

Corals were a bit white washed, but fish life was incredible.

🤿 Snorkelling

You can snorkel directly near the beach.

UK Trip: UK Visa for Indian Passport holder costs around 10k per person [Indian Rupees] [We had applied in Nov 2021]. Visa application centers mostly work 5 days a week. So one day you might have to go to Visa center on working day. Due to Covid-19, there was too much delay in processing of the Visa. So if you are planning a trip to UK, plan in advance and apply Visa much in advance.  It took  2.5 months  for our Visa approval due to Covid-19.
